Kickback - History and Archaeology

Back to Kickback

Introduction

Over the years we have been involved in a range of activities, mainly focussed on medieval archaeology and the history of the built environment and often working with young people. This work has resulted in two books, a variety of small scale publications and a number of on-going projects. The pages here are designed to create a presence on the web for this work. This may ultimately become on of the largest sections of Kickback as we convert existing material and initiate new studies.

On line......

Following a visit to survey the site and workshops back at the county museum at Woodstock members of the Oxfordshire branch of the Yound Archaeologists Club have created an on-line guide to an important but little known and poorly understood monument to the north of the county. We are temporarily hosting the site for them here.
